Even after few weeks of its launch and this serial is now hyped as the biggest fiction launch of 2014.Balaji’s favorite Dialogue Writer DheerajSarna has written the most powerful and gripping dialogues for the show, which doesn’t sound too heavy to the ears. All the actors have done a great job.
Kumkum Bhagya is a show following the life of a Punjabi woman who runs a marriage hall and lives with the hope of seeing her daughters Pragya and Bulbul who are poles apart, happily married someday.Pragya, the elder daughter is a practical, hardworking and loyal to her supportive family while bulbul, the younger one is a complete dreamer. KumkumBhagya’s lead character Pragya played by SritiJha is a woman of today’s time yet she is rooted well into her culture. Suresh’s character looks inspired by Shahrukh Khan’s in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. On her wedding day, future mother in law demands to get the marriage hall as dowry to continue with this marriage. Pragya comes to know about it and refuses to marry and later she has to settle with Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) the rock star singer. The most commendable thing in the show is that the Pragya is not shown as a weak woman who is dying to get a groom. Sriti nails the character of Pragya and with effective dialogue delivery creates the much needed high point in the episode.
Thumbs ups for Kumkum Bhagya team, they have done tremendous work in order to make the serial simple but with gripping story.
